A method and a device for supporting a body organ including the urethra and bladder neck are provided to minimize urinary incontinence by preventing the bladder neck from descending excessively without urethra obstruction by controlling the extension of a urethra support. A device(192) for supporting a body organ including the urethra and bladder neck has a body organ supporting elongated member made of biocompatible material including polymer or biological tissues and provided with a central portion. The elongated member comprises a first fixing and setting unit attached to one end and a second fixing and setting unit attached on the other end. The first and second fixing and setting units are adjusted according to the length of the elongated member.
