The material has a flexible backing film and a non woven fabric or paper, where two metallized layers are disposed between the flexible backing film and the non woven fabric or paper and spaced apart from one another by several intermediate layers. The backing film is comprised of polyethylene naphthalene (PEN), polyolefin and polyester. The non oven fabric is comprised of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The nonwoven fabric is treated to be flameproof. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a composite material. |
