A method of establishing an arrangement plan to make a medium and long term plan for ship production is provided to maintain consistency of a ship-ticketing plan and a short and medium term plan by establishing systematic standard and process for production plan establishment, build an organization undertaking the production plan from the integrated view, introduce a tool which can analyze a load by considering all kinds of contract stipulations by industry or occupation, establish a production plan system which can analyze a load by considering all kinds of contract stipulations by industry or occupation, build a process which analyzes capacity before and after facility investment and the capacity variation trend connected to the existing facilities, and distribute productions reasonably by stage by fractionating a work management unit. A method of establishing an arrangement plan to make a medium and long term plan for ship production follows dock arrangement plan procedure which includes the following steps: a definition step for shape, location and limitation of dock, which defines dock's shape, dock's location information and dock's limitation; a dock initial automatic arrangement step, which performs an initial automatic arrangement by applying a rule for the amount of ships of corresponding batch in case of dock arrangement; a dock-arrangement adjustment step, which manually arranges ships into a dock in case of dock arrangement; a ship's tandem information change step, which changes tandem information, such as ship's tandem length and tandem stage, if necessary when an arrangement situation has changed according to variation of a situation inside a dock; and an examination and decision step for a dock arrangement plan, which examines and stores a dock arrangement plan before going to the next process and after completing the dock arrangement plan.
