An assembly structure of a shift cable and a bracket is provided to simplify assembling work by forming a seated groove on a bracket and by inserting a detent device and a shaft to an elevation groove formed in a socket. An assembly structure of a shift cable and a bracket, into which a shift cable is fixedly inserted into a socket groove whose upper direction is opened, comprises: an elevation groove whose lower direction is opened in a lower side of a socket(20), a slide hole(24) formed in a side direction, a shaft(40) inserted into the elevation groove, a detent device(50) inserted into the slide hole so as to be contacted to the shaft and a groove formed to communicate with the slide hole in a side direction of the bracket. When the socket is inserted into the bracket, the shaft pushes the detent device in a side direction while moving in an upper direction of the socket and a part of the detent device is seated into the groove.
