The sub frame has two frame sides spaced from each other in a vehicle transverse direction, and comprising metal casting part and a hollow profile. The casting part is arranged in a vehicle bumper and the profile is arranged in a passenger compartment. The casting part is formed as a rigid body related to a crash-event, and the profile is formed as a deformation unit that absorbs force in a vehicle longitudinal direction (H-F).
