A METHOD OF OPTIMIZING A MIDDLE SCHEDULE FOR A SHIP PRODUCTION

A method of establishing a medium term schedule optimization system for ship production is provided to maintain consistency of a ship-ticketing plan and a short and medium term plan by establishing systematic standard and process for production plan establishment; build an organization undertaking the production plan from the integrated view; introduce a tool which can analyze a load by considering all kinds of contract stipulations by industry or occupation; establish a production plan system which can analyze a load by considering all kinds of contract stipulations by industry or occupation; build a process which analyzes capacity before and after facility investment and the capacity variation trend connected to the existing facilities; distribute productions by stage reasonably by fractionating a work management unit(WBS system establishment); build a process reflecting an production output by a type of ship; establish the monitoring system and structure of the production output; make the work standardization system, such as work manual or management protocol; and have modification, additional analysis and feedback process. A method of establishing a medium term schedule optimization system for ship production includes the following steps: a step which selects a block for an optimization schedule object; a step which selects the optimization schedule parameter to perform "What-If" simulation; a step which establishes a block schedule plan through a load equalization by the optimization schedule algorithm considering block start, completion date and resource capacity; a step which inquires a schedule for the result of "What-If" simulation and a resistance analysis object; and a step which decides the optimization result by the result decision process after analyzing the optimization schedule result.
