A driving prevention apparatus of a wheel-type construction equipment is provided to prevent rolling or rollover of construction equipments by enabling a driver to drive a construction equipment only in a state which a foot brake is stepped and a ram locking switch is turned off. A driving prevention apparatus of a wheel-type construction equipment comprises: a controller(9) installed in a wheel-type construction equipment, a brake pressure switch(1) connected to the controller, which is turned on in a state which a foot brake is stepped and turned off when the foot brake is released, a ram locking switch(3) connected to the controller, which is turned on when the ram locking device is locked and turned off when the ram locking device is released, a shift lever neutral switch(5) connected to the controller, which is turned on when the shift lever is neutral and turned off when the shift lever is operated, and an alarm unit(7) connected to the controller and operated by the controller when the ram locking switch and the brake pressure switch are turned on and the shift lever neutral switch is turned off, which gives a warning on a driver.
