A lighting device of a manipulation switch portion is provided to improve lighting uniformity of the switch portion by arranging a tactile switch on a center line of a switch button cap. A housing(1) is mounted on an instrument panel in front of a driving sheet. A moving block(3) is slidably contained in the housing. A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(5) is arranged at a rear portion of the moving block and is connected to a battery power portion. A tactile switch(6) is arranged in the middle of the PCB. A switch button cap(4) is mounted at an end of the housing and pushed by a user. A transparent portion(8) is formed at a portion of the switch button cap. An EL(Electro-Luminescent) film(9) is arranged to cover an overall surface of the transparent portion behind the transparent portion. An EL(Electro-Luminescent) film mounting frame(10) holds a rim portion of the EL film and is fixed on the switch button cap. A wire(12) couples the PCB board with the EL film.
