NOVEL DECURSIN DERIVATIVE, THE PREPARATION THEREOF AND A COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING CANCER DISEASE

A (+)-decursin derivative is provided to secure potent inhibiting effect on the cancer cell such as A549 lung cancer cell line, HCT15 colon cancer cell line and ACHN rectal cancer cell line, thereby capable of being used for treating or preventing cancer diseases as an anti-cancer agent, health care food, or functional health food. A decursin derivative compound synthesized from (+)-decursinol isolated from Angelica gigas as a precursor is represented by the formula(1), wherein R1 is C1-20 alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl substituted or unsubstituted with R'( R1 is halogen, nitro, amine, or C1-4 lower alkyl) or an A substituents represented from the formula(I-a)(wherein A' is at least one attachable at o-, m- and p- position of phenyl group selected from group consisting of H, hydroxyl, nitro, halogen, C1-4 lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkyl ester and lower alkyl carboxy; and n is an integer of 0 to 4). A pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing cancer diseases comprises an efficient amount of the compound of the formula(1) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an effective ingredient. A health functional food for preventing and treating cancer diseases comprises the compound of the formula(1).
