A vehicle tire having improved wet traction is provided to enhance drain performance by enlarging an area occupied by streamline-shaped grooves extending from the center section to the shoulder section of a tread. A vehicle tire having improved wet traction comprises a tread(1), a sidewall and a bead section. V-shaped main grooves(2) extend from the center section to the shoulder section of the tread(1). The main groove(2) has an inclination angle(A1) of 18° with respect to the center line(L) of the tread(1). The start part(D1) of the main groove(2) corresponds to 5% to 7% of TW(tread width)/2. The main groove(2) has a curved structure in which a first inner bending section (W1) thereof corresponds to 20% to 22% of the TW/2, and a second outer bending section(W2) thereof corresponds to 72% to 73% of the TW/2. The end portion of the second outer bending section extends to shoulder grooves(21).
