An evaporated gas treatment system for a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to satisfy regulation on air contamination by collecting the evaporated gas in an auxiliary canister when liquid fuel flows to a main canister. An evaporated gas treatment system for a vehicle comprises an auxiliary canister(3) with an engine side port and a fuel tank side port connected to a main canister in parallel, a canister close valve(5) installed at an air side port of the auxiliary canister, a canister connecting pipe circuit(7) transferring air from the canister close valve to an air side port of the main canister by way of the auxiliary canister, a first valve(9) opening and closing the canister connecting pipe circuit, a second valve(13) installed to control connection between the engine side port of the main canister and a purge control solenoid valve(11), a third valve(17) installed to control connection between the fuel tank side port of the main canister and the fuel tank, and a fourth valve(19) installed to control connection between the fuel tank side port of the auxiliary canister and the fuel tank.
