A pneumatic vehicle tire is provided to prevent butyl components contained in inner liner rubber from corroding a steel code of a belt layer while making contact with the steel code. A pneumatic vehicle tire comprises a tread(1), a sidewall(2) and bead sections(3). A cacas(4) is installed at the inner sides of the tread(1) and the sidewall(2). Reinforcing codes(41,42) having an oval section are inserted into the cacas(4). The reinforcing code has a long axis aligned in parallel with a cacas surface(43) at the lower portion of the tread(1) and the cacas(4). The reinforcing code has a short axis aligned in parallel with the cacas surface(43) at the lower portion of the bead sections(3). The reinforcing code is twisted by 90° at the boundary between the sidewall(2) and the bead sections(3).
