A vehicle tire having a modified bead section is provided to reduce friction between bead wires and decrease the weight of a bead core by forming the bead core in a hollow shape. A vehicle tire having a modified bead section comprises a tread(1), a sidewall(2) and a bead section(3) having a bead core(4). The bead core(4) is formed in a hollow shape. The bead core(4) has a mesh-type cylindrical structure. The bead core(4) comprises beads formed by twisting wires having a small diameter. Since the bead core(4) is formed in a hollow shape, the density of the bead wire is low and thus friction between the bead wires is reduced. This causes reduction in an amount of heat generated between the bead wires.
