A view angle adjusting device of a side view mirror and a driving control method thereof are provided to allow a driver to view a side rear zone of a vehicle through the adjustment of the angle of the side view mirror when the driver intends to change a lane during travel. A view angle adjusting device of a side view mirror(1) includes a selecting unit, a control unit(12), and an angle adjusting unit(14). The selecting unit permits a user to select a left or right side view mirror and select change of the angle of the mirror. The control unit determines change of the angle of the selected mirror in accordance with the input of the selecting unit, and determines time taken for change. The angle adjusting unit changes the angle of the selected side view mirror in accordance with the control of the control unit. The control unit counts time elapsed from the input of the selecting unit, and adjusts time taken for changing the angle of the selected side view mirror.
