A structure for adjusting the height of an extension type table is provided to adjust the height of a table effectively by making respective vertical members be interlocked with each other integrally. Driving gears(122) installed on first and second vertical members are positioned on the same line. Coupling holes are formed inside the vertical members. A first connection rod(210) having a hexagonal shape are coupled to the coupling holes to couple the first and second vertical members integrally. A driving bevel gear(310) is installed on the end of the first connection rod adjacent to the second vertical member. A driven bevel gear(320) is fixed at a right angle with the driving bevel gear. Inside a rectangular gear box(300) installed on the upper end of the second vertical member, the driving and driven bevel gears engage with each other.
