An apparatus and a method for controlling system operations are provided to realize multi-booting in a single hard-disk by remapping addresses without changing MBR(Master Boot Record) information in each operating systems. An apparatus and a method for controlling system operations comprises a plurality of input units(106), a memory unit(103) storing different operating systems, and a control unit(101). The control unit performs and controls at least one command to use the operating system different from the preset operating system. Addresses of each operation systems are remapped depending on a decision of the control unit.
