A text message display processing device for a mobile phone and a display processing control method are provided to display a text message so that a receiver can recognize as if word spacing existed even though the word spacing does not substantially occur, thus a user can economically write the text message. A text message input unit(11) enables a user to input characters. A controller(12) generates characters from a signal inputted from the input unit(11) so that a text message is written and displayed, and differentiates concentration of peripheral characters instead of spacing words when spacing-words are inputted, and outputs a control signal for sending the written message to the outside. A display(13) displays the text message on a screen according to the control signal. A transceiver(14) transmits the message by using an antenna(15), or receives the message from the outside. A memory(17) stores the message and a control program.
