METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR READING INFORMATION DATA OF NON-VOLATILE MEMORY WITHOUT ERRORS

A method and a system for reading out information data in a non-volatile memory without errors are provided to prevent a communication error which is generated when reading out information of CRUM(Customer Replacement Unit Memory) of consumption goods. A first check sum value corresponding to an non-volatile memory information data which is installed in consumption goods, is obtained(10). The first check sum value is confirmed whether same to a second check sum value stored in an image forming device. If the check sum values are same, the non-volatile memory information data stored in the image forming device which is corresponded to the second check sum value, is read out(40).
