A pillar trim structure is provided to prevent damage to a pillar trim portion by deploying a head lining and a deployment guide of the pillar trim portion at the same time during deployment of a curtain air bag. A deployment guide is hinged to a pillar trim portion(100) arranged in the vicinity of a head lining(200). The deployment guide has a front end interposed between a curtain air bag(300) and the head lining, and rotates during inflation of the curtain air bag. The head lining has a recess(210) which is recessed by the rotation of the deployment guide upon inflation of the curtain air bag. The front end of the deployment guide has a contact rib which contacts the head lining upon inflation of the curtain air bag. The contact rib faces the head lining.
