A magnetic disk control apparatus, a magnetic disk apparatus, and a method of correcting read errors are provided to prevent information on a disk drive from being erased by re-writing data on an area in the disk drive having error generation possibility. A magnetic disk control apparatus comprises an error situation determining unit(202), and a correction unit(203). If a correctable reading error occurs, the error situation determining unit defines an area on a disk drive having possibility of errors caused by the same factor as the previous error. The correction unit is configured to correct the error by re-writing the area defined by the error situation determining unit.
