CONTROLLING METHOD FOR REFRIGERATOR

A method for controlling a refrigerator is provided to set non-freezing temperature of stored foods by adjusting energy amount and to perform a various non-freezing mode by allowing a user to select non-freezing temperature. A method for controlling a refrigerator comprises the steps of: discriminating if selecting degree of non-freezing state is possible or not(S71); setting degree of non-freezing state by a user(S72); discriminating if controlling degree of cooling is possible or not(S74); setting energy amount to be applied to a receiving space or stored foods in relationship between the degree of non-freezing state and energy amount under a constant cooling condition(S75); cooling the receiving space or foods in a predetermined degree if the controlling degree of cooling is fixed(S76); setting degree of cooling by refrigeration cycle and performing cooling operation(S77); setting energy amount according to a predetermined degree of non-freezing state and cooling degree(S78); and applying energy to the receiving space or stored foods for performing non-freezing(S79).
