Converting existing windows into double glazing, by cutting out central section of window pane, attaching support strip to glass left in frame and fitting insulation glass

The existing window pane is cut out of the frame along lines extending parallel to the inward-facing surfaces of the frame in order to form a cut-out central pane section and a border pane section remaining inside the frame. A support strip is attached to the border pane section after the central section has been removed and then the insulation glass is placed on top of a support surface on the strip and fixed inside the frame.
