A satellite control apparatus for improving signal degradation on a satellite link, a frequency path conversion system using the same, and a method thereof are provided to enhance the link availability of a satellite communication system and increase the revitalization and utilization of the satellite communication system through different frequencies according to weather conditions on a satellite link and solving a problem of signal degradation due to a frequency in use. A satellite control apparatus(100) for improving signal degradation on a satellite link comprises a carrier level monitoring part(130) and a frequency switch control management part(120). The carrier level monitoring part(130) receives a signal transmitted through satellite communication and calculates how much the signal has been attenuated due to signal degradation. The frequency switch control management part(120) judges the changeover of a frequency in use according to the signal attenuation extent outputted from the carrier level monitoring part(130). If frequency switching is required, the frequency switch control management part(120) creates and transmits a frequency changeover command. |
