An oil supply structure of a flat knitting machine is provided to supply lubricant oil into a knitting cam part of a carriage efficiently, by improving the oil structure of the flat knitting machine. A flexible type oil supply tube(6) is connected to a carriage(3) so that lubricant oil is intermittently moved from an oil supply pump(7), which is installed at a side of a needle bed(2), into a knitting cam part(5). Since the supply of the lubricant oil is performed near a top portion of a mountain-shaped knitting root(12) through a passage(17) of an attaching screw(16) and a bridge cam block, the lubricant flows to both sides of the knitting root even when a butt(21) of a knitting needle(20) hardly passes through the top portion of the knitting root, thereby supplying a sufficient amount of lubricant oil. When the butt of the knitting needle passes through the top portion of the knitting root, the lubricant adheres to the butt to be supplied even to a stitch cam(14), which operates the butt to drop the knitting needle. |
