CHILD BIRTH ASSISTING APPARATUS

An apparatus for assisting childbirth is provided to reduce pain of a woman in childbed and medical expenses at once by easily mounting a pressing unit in a necessary time by separating a safe arrival unit and a pressing unit. An apparatus for assisting childbirth by pressing an upper part of a belly of a woman in childbed includes a mounting unit and a pressing unit. The mounting unit includes a mounting pad(210) and a pair of first connection members(220). The mounting pad has a mounting surface so that the back of the woman in childbed is mounted to the mounting surface. The pair of first connection members are formed on both ends of the mounting pad. The pressing unit includes a first belt member(310), a pair of second connection members, and at least one air bag(330). The first belt member is made of inelastic material capable of controlling length. The pair of second connection members are installed in both sides of the first belt member and individually attached to the first connection members. The air bags are formed inside of the first belt member and press the upper part of the belly of the woman in childbed by being expanded by air inputted from an external air providing device.
