<p>A remote control device using a touch screen and a method are provided to display channel information and volume information on a linear touch screen, so that a user can perceive channel and volume information at a glance according to each of selected channel modes. A channel mode selector(200) is capable of selecting channels according to each channel mode. A channel selector(240) linearly displays the channels corresponding to the channel modes on a touch screen. An operation supplementary device(260) is connected to the channel selector to slide down thereon. A channel scale is expansively displayed according to pressure for pressing the touch screen or pressing time.</p> |
