APPARATUS FOR SUPERCOOLING AND METHOD FOR MAKING POROUS ICE USING THE SAME

A supercooling device and a method for making a porous ice are provided to store water in supercooled state by making supercooled water in slush and then draining only a liquid from the slush. A supercooling device comprises a container(21), a phase transformation unit(22c), and a drain hole(21g). The container can store a liquid in supercooling state. The phase transformation unit stimulates liquid in the container to help the liquid to be frozen. The drain hole is formed at the container and drains the liquid. A filter member(21h) prevents a solid which is the frozen state of the liquid, from being discharged through the drain hole. The phase transformation unit is an electric shocker.
