<p>A protection circuit module is provided to reduce the number of members and welding steps required for coupling a protection circuit module to a cell, to realize a compact battery, and to improve the lifespan of a cell. A protection circuit module(10) comprises a protection circuit for controlling overcharge, overdischarge and overcurrent of a battery, wherein an integrated protection circuit chip(11) is mounted to one side of one surface of the module and the module has a through hole(12) corresponding to the protrusion of a cell to be coupled to the module. The integrated protection circuit chip includes a switched protection module. An electrode lead is attached to one side of the through hole of the protection circuit module.</p> |
