A leg stretching device is provided to let a user take exercise in a comfortable posture by stretching legs while sitting on a chair and to secure economical efficiency as the leg stretching device is operated only by power of the user without electric power. A leg stretching device is composed of a vertical frame(10) disposed in a vertical direction; a support(20) combined with the lower end of the vertical frame to prop up the leg stretching device on the floor; horizontal frames(30,31) combined with the vertical frame and horizontally extended from the left and right sides of the vertical frame; a chair(60) joined to the front side of the vertical and horizontal frames to let a user sit on; two leg support plates(50,51) exposed to the front side of the chair to place both legs of the user and provided with leg fixing parts(90,91) formed at first end portions to fix legs and second end portions combined with the bottom side of the chair through a rotary shaft; plural pulleys(80,81) arranged at the upper end of the vertical frame, between the vertical and horizontal frames, and the left and right ends of the horizontal frame; and two wires(70,71) wound around the pulleys and hung on the horizontal and vertical frames, and provided with handles(40,41) installed at second end portions to let a user apply power, wherein first end portions of the wires are combined with the first end portions of each leg support plate.
