POLYVINYLALCOHOL FILM AND POLARIZING FILM

A polyvinylalcohol film and a polarizing film are provided to have uniform optical property over the large area. According to a polyvinylalcohol film, the difference of hot water extension time along width direction(TD) of the film is below 3 seconds. The difference of the longest hot water extension length along width direction of the film is below 30 mm. The thickness along width direction of the film is 40-150 mum. Thickness difference along width direction of the film is below 3 mum.
