A porous sintered mold for forming a pulp by a graphite master mold, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to keep uniformity of plural pores and to obtain strength which is required to a product, by discharging fluid easily from the slurry-type pulp. A manufacturing method of a porous sintered mold for forming a pulp by a graphite master mold includes a step of manufacturing a master mold by using graphite; a step of filling metallic powder at a space inside the master mold, and vibrating and pressurizing the metallic powder; a step of sintering the metallic powder by inert gas or reductive gas; and a step of separating a metallic mold out of the master mold. A metallic material of the metallic powder is one of copper, brass, bronze, and stainless.
