A transform preventing cap for a connector is provided to maintain a shape of a housing during delivery or keeping of the connector by being inserted into the housing of the connector, thereby preventing transform during the delivery or keeping of the connector and accordingly improving reliability of goods. A transform preventing cap for a connector(1) includes a cap body(22), a hanger flange(28), and a hanger hook(32). The cap body is formed in a hollow form, and has an external shape corresponding to a front end inside of a housing to be inserted. The hanger flange is formed around a side edge of the cap body, and contacted with a front end edge of the housing to control a degree that the cap body is inserted. The hanger hook has a hanger protrusion(33) engaged with a locking protrusion formed within a side of the housing, and is integrally formed in the cap body to be elastically transformed. The hanger hook makes the cap body coupled with the housing.
