A method of molding a composite member in which one member is subjected to integral molding with another member so that the one member is provided with a convex part; and a relevant composite member. At least part of the inner surface of metal mold (10) positioned opposite to surface of first member (6b) to be fusion bonded to a second member is provided with concave part (10a). Second thermoplastic material is melted and injected onto the side of surface of first member (6b) to be fusion bonded to a second member, so that the first member (6b) is deformed by the injection pressure of the molten second thermoplastic material, thereby providing the first member with convex part (6a).
