A system for changing internet advertisement by using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to change content of the internet advertisement in real time while checking a response of a consumer to the internet advertisement. A system for changing internet advertisement by using a mobile communication terminal comprises an SMS interlink server(50), an advertisement agent server(30) and an advertisement media server(40). The SMS interlink server(50) includes a transceiver(51), the third controller(52), an advertiser authentication unit(53), a statistical report unit(54), and an advertisement content changing unit(55). The transceiver(51) receives a short message via an SMSC(Short Message Service Center) from a mobile communication terminal(10), forwards the short message to the third controller(52) and transmits a short message, generated by the third controller(52), to the SMSC. The third controller(52) analyzes content of the forwarded short message, determines corresponding instructions, and forwards the instructions to corresponding components(53,54,55). The advertiser authentication unit(53) inquires of the advertisement agent server(30) whether transmitted information on an advertiser is legal. The statistical report unit(54) checks an advertisement statistics checking instruction received from the third controller(52) and requests the advertisement agent server(30) to send a currently executed internet advertisement list. The advertisement content changing unit(55) checks an advertisement change instruction received from the third controller(52), requests the advertisement agent server(30) to send a currently executed internet advertisement list, and transmits advertisement identification information and advertisement content change information to the advertisement agent server if the third controller(52) requests advertisement content change.
