A rotation stopper device of a display rotation-type portable terminal is provided to configure a rotation stopper unit for limiting rotation of a display unit or rotating the display unit by being detached when a folder is opened and closed, thereby preventing the display unit from being rotated regardless of a user's intention. A rotation stopper unit(100) enables rotation of a display unit(21) by being detached when a folder(20) is rotated at the first hinge shaft(A1), and limits the rotation of the display unit(21) by being combined before the folder(20) is rotated at the first hinge shaft(A1). The rotation stopper unit(100) comprises as follows. A stopper groove(101) is formed on the folder(20). A stopper member(102) rotates or limits the display unit(21) by being detached from the stopper groove(101) along with the rotation of the folder(20).
