A brushless DC motor is provided to reduce a noise and a vibration and improve a driving efficiency by preventing a flux short by inducing the flux flowing into a permanent magnet using a stator. A brushless DC motor includes a stator(100) and a rotor(200). The stator has a rotor receiving part. The rotor is received by the rotor receiving part with a predetermined gap. The rotor includes a permanent magnet receiving part(220), a flux leakage preventing part, a periphery sinking part, and a bridge part. The permanent magnet receiving part is formed in an equal angle interval according to circumference and receives a permanent magnet(221) so as to be parallel with an axial line. The flux leakage preventing part is formed by being penetrated between ends of a circumference direction that the permanent magnets are adjacent each other. The periphery sinking part is formed by being sunk from the periphery to an inside of a radius in the flux leakage preventing area. The bridge part is formed between the flux leakage preventing part and the periphery sinking part so as to have a stepped structure and prevents the flux from flowing between the flux leakage preventing part, the periphery and the periphery sinking part.
