A method for driving a microwave oven is provided to enable a user to cook various food irrespective of an inner temperature of the microwave oven by using cooking data corresponding to respective inner temperatures. Cooking data for various food is set. When a cooking start signal is inputted, a magnetron in the microwave oven is driven according to the cooking data for the various food. The cooking data is set for respective inner temperatures for the various food. When the cooking start signal is received(S10), the inner temperature of the microwave oven is monitored(S20). Then, the food is cooked according to the cooking data, which is selected to correspond to the inner temperature of the microwave oven(S30,S40). The cooking data corresponds to a predetermined range of preset temperatures. When the inner temperature is different from the preset temperature, the inner temperature is regulated to the preset temperature. |
