METHOD FOR PROVIDING GAME SERVICE BASED ON VOICE

A method for providing a voice based game service is provided to enable a user to play a game at any time in any place only if the user carries a wireless/wired phone set or a portable phone which can make a voice call connection. A method for providing a voice based game service comprises the following several steps. An open application service server receives a call from a user via an open service gateway, and transmits VXML(Voice Extensible Markup Language) URL information to an intelligent value adding device(103). The intelligent value adding device requests a VXML page to the VXML server by using the transmitted VXML URL information(104). The VXML server generates the requested VXML page, reads a corresponding sound file from a database, and transmits the sound file to the intelligent value adding device(105-107). The intelligent value adding device reproduces the transmitted sound file and requests a user to input digits(108,109). If the user inputs the requested digits, the intelligent value adding device a corresponding VXML page to the VXML server(110).
