A travelling control method of a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve the fuel efficiency and to reduce nitrogen oxide by performing the fuel interception control until the idling engine automatically stops. A travelling control method of a hybrid vehicle includes: a first step wherein an ECU(engine control unit) decides a fuel interception control RPM or releases RPM from the current vehicle state; a second step of deciding whether the vehicle status is able to enter the fuel interception control; a third step of transmitting the results of the second step to the HCU(hybrid control unit); a fourth step of initiating fuel interception control; a fifth step of confirming whether a request for prohibition of release of fuel interception control from the HCU exists; and a sixth step of transmitting the state of fuel interception control to the HCU.
