An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to process 10-bit RGB data without increasing driving clock by supplying higher 2-bit RGB data using 2-pair connection lines. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a liquid crystal panel(102), gate and data drivers(104,106a-106d), a timing controller(110), and m transmission lines. The gate and data drivers drive the liquid crystal panel. The timing controller supplies j-bit RGB data to the data driver. The m transmission lines, which have relation rule, where is a transmission line supplied higher 2-bit RGB data of the j-bit RGB data, are formed between the timing controller and data driver.
