An information error detection system of a subscriber terminal and a method are provided to collect information of subscriber terminals from network devices, and to detect errors by comparing the collected information with contents stored in a system which stores the information of the subscriber terminals, thereby obtaining reliability of the system which stores the information. At least one of local collecting servers(111,112,113,...) inquires about connection status of a concentrator, and obtains connection status information of the concentrator. An integrated collecting server(120) obtains information of subscriber terminals by accessing an authentication system of a network, integrates the obtained information with the collected connection status information, and detects errors by comparing the integrated information with facility information of the subscriber terminals received from a facility information server.
