A metal die is provided to maintain high temperature on each surface of metal mold plates comprising a cavity metal mold in order to injection mold a smooth-surface product by reciprocating a cooling metal mold plate in the space between a heating metal mold plate and a fixed plate using an opening and closing unit. A metal die comprises a heating metal mold plate(110), a cooling metal mold plate(120), a core metal mold(130), a moving unit(140), and an opening and closing unit. The front surface of the heating metal mold plate forms a part of a molding cavity, and has electric heaters(112) embedded inside. The cooling mold plate abuts or separates from the back surface of the heating mold plate, and has cooling channels(122) installed inside. The core metal mold interlocks with a cavity metal mold to form a cavity. The moving unit relatively moves the cavity and the core metal molds to expose the cavity. The opening and closing unit is installed between the heating and the cooling metal mold plates to contact or separate the cooling metal mold plate to/from the heating metal mold plate. The heating mold plate is fixed on a fixed plate(116) disposed opposite to the core metal mold. The cooling metal mold plate is reciprocated between the heating metal mold plate and the fixed plate by the opening and closing unit. At least two symmetrical opening and closing units are installed between the cooling metal mold plate and the fixed plate. |
