A method for manufacturing an E-book, and a driving method thereof are provided to define a A/A when the E-book is initially powered on and block the leakage of light in the outline by a black frame in mounting a top case on a module, thereby obtaining superior image quality. An E-book(Electronic book) comprises first and second substrates, a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array, a dummy pixel area(DP), and a micro capsule. The first and second substrates are opposite to each other. An A/A(Active Area) displayed in the center and an I/A(Inactive/Area) in the outline of the A/A are defined on the first and second substrates. The TFT array defines plural pixel areas in the A/A of the first substrates. The dummy pixel area is formed in the I/A around the plural pixel areas and is displayed in a black mode when a power-on signal is applied. The micro capsule has black particles between the first and second substrates. |
