An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to bend and attach gate TCPs(Tape Carrier Package) to the rear of an LCD panel without a gate PCB, thereby reducing the width of a non-display area less than 50%. An LCD device comprises an LCD panel(52) and a gate TCP(54). The gate TCP is electrically connected to gate signal pads formed in the front of the LCD panel. Part of the gate TCP is curved to be attached to the rear of the LCD panel. The LCD panel comprises a lower substrate(52b) and an upper substrate(52a). The lower substrate comprises plural gate lines and plural data lines, and a lower polarizing plate. The plural gate lines are connected to the gate signal pads. The plural data lines area connected to the plural data signal pads and cross the gate lines. The lower polarizing plate is attached to the lower substrate. The upper substrate is opposite to the lower substrate with a liquid crystal layer. An upper polarizing plate is attached to the upper substrate. |
