<p>An automatic power controller of external equipment is provided to remotely reset the external equipment by monitoring an operation state of the external equipment from a terminal which is connected to a network. An automatic power controller is connected to at least one external equipment and includes a main unit(203) and an extension unit(201). The main unit transmits an external equipment state acknowledgement request signal to the external equipment at a predetermined timing or for every interval. The external equipment state acknowledgement request signal is used to monitor an erroneous state of the external equipment. The main unit determines the error state of the external equipment, when the external equipment state request signal is defective or no external equipment state request signal is received. The main unit transmits a power reset request signal to the extension unit. The extension unit resets the power of the external equipment according to a power reset request signal.</p> |
