A precharge voltage generating circuit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to prevent transistors from being burned out due to overcurrent by removing transistors, which are not driven in a precharge generating circuit. A precharge voltage generating circuit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes first and second bias voltage suppliers(41,44), a precharge high voltage generator(42), a precharge high voltage outputting unit(43), a precharge low voltage generator(45), and a precharge low voltage outputting unit(46). The first and second bias voltage suppliers supply a bias voltage. The precharge high voltage generator pushes a precharge high voltage through a transistor, which is turned on by voltage supplied from the first bias voltage supplier. The precharge high voltage outputting unit supplies a precharge high voltage using a voltage from the precharge high voltage generator. The precharge low voltage generator pulls a precharge low voltage through a transistor, which is turned on by voltage supplied from the second bias voltage supplier. The precharge low voltage outputting unit supplies a precharge low voltage using a voltage from the precharge low voltage generator.
