A microwave oven is provided to cook effectively foodstuff in accordance with the condition of the space where the microwave oven is installed. A microwave oven includes a cavity(110a), an electrical component chamber(120), a magnetron(160), and a controller. The cavity is arranged in an inner case(111). The electrical component chamber is interposed between an outer case(110) and the inner case, and arranged at a left side of the cavity. The magnetron is arranged in the electrical component chamber, and radiates microwaves to the cavity. The controller is arranged in the electrical component chamber, and controls operation of the magnetron.
