An outdoor communication device having a radiation control function is provided to drop temperature of the communication device through a convection current with outside air if internal temperature is high, and to intercept the convection current with the outside air if the internal temperature is low, thereby preventing the internal temperature from being dropped by external radiation. Heating components are disposed within a housing unit(21). Radiating covers(23) are mounted on at least one side outside the housing unit(21). The radiating covers(23) include opening/closing units(25) for outside air flows. An internal temperature sensor senses temperature inside the housing unit(21). A controller controls operation of the opening/closing units(25) according to the sensed internal temperature. A driving device drives the opening/closing units(25).
