摘要 A tripod constant velocity joint is provided to minimize friction between a trunnion and an inner roller by forming the trunnion having an oval sectional shape. A tripod constant velocity joint comprises an inner roller and an outer roller that are disposed between a track of a housing and a trunnion(11) of a spider. On a lateral section making contact with a pitch circle of the trunnion, the trunnion has a structure including a wide angle part(M), a narrow angle part(N) having a width smaller than that of the wide angle and a recess(21) formed between the wide angle part and the narrow angle part. The wide angle part is formed along a rotational direction of the trunnion. The narrow angle part is formed perpendicularly to the rotational direction of the trunnion. The wide angle part and the narrow angle part form an oval figure having a long axis in the rotational direction and a short axis perpendicular to the rotational direction.
