A stator of an AC generator for a vehicle is provided to decrease a peak AC voltage induced from respective phases of the stator by arranging a slot and a teeth unit at an angle which is not vertical to a tangential line outside the stator. A stator of an AC generator for a vehicle includes a coreback unit(41), plural teeth units(42), and a cylindrical stator core. The coreback unit has a cylindrical shape. The teeth units have a predetermined length and are arranged from the coreback unit toward a center direction. The teeth units are arranged to be apart from one another by a predetermined distance. A U-like insulator is arranged between the teeth unit on a magnetic plate. The magnetic plates are laminated in the stator core. The teeth units are formed in an angle which is not vertical to an outer periphery of the coreback unit, so that a voltage peak value of an induced AC voltage is decreased.
